Yesterday, I had Saphenous Endovenous Laser Therapy (that's a mouthful) done on my right leg. What does this mean? I hope it means that the vericose vein in my right leg (see picture) will be gone in several weeks. Technically, when you have this done, it's not supposed to hurt. In fact, I overheard the guy before me talking about how he felt nothing. Anyways, they gave me an Ativan to take 1 hour before the procedure and then they injected my leg in several places with some numbing medication. WHATEVER, it didn't work for me. I felt everything and for those of you who know me, I have NO pain tolerance. The doctor said the reason I felt everything is because the vein was so close to the surface. Next time (left leg), I want two Ativan. :-)
Right now, 9:00 am, my leg is swollen and throbbing and I'm not due another pain pill until 11:30 am. It's hard to stay off your feet and keep your leg elevated when you have a 14th month old. However, now that Amy is here, I've got my leg elevated and working from home. Thank you, Amy!

Jacque,
Sorry you're hurting. Hope you feel better soon. Chris
Wow, I can't imagine how that feels! Hope you get better soon! The results look great so far. It is amazing how far medicine has advanced! Thanks for commenting on our blog. It's nice to hear from you. We are doing fairly well. I just wish we could get our next orders soon. We are also preparing for Austin's next major surgery in October. Take Care, Annette
