Mommy's behind at getting pictures on the blog but here are a couple that we took a few Saturday's ago on one of our afternoon drives.

Sick Baby

CC's had a fever all weekend so this morning I took her to the pediatrician; she has her first ear infection. So, for the next few days she'll be taking her Amoxicillin twice a day.

While there, the doc told us that her four molars were swollen and that one had broken through. He (different pediatrician than her regular one) said that as a new doctor he didn't believe there was a correlation between teething and ear problems. However, over the years he's seen enough to know that some children do develop ear infections/aches when teething. Could this be CC?

You know you've lived in FL if...

you're interested in the Gator Attack Database. Yes, you heard right! There's a database of all recorded gator attacks dating back to 1928. If these are the recorded attacks, I wonder how many go unrecorded?

I was reading the local paper (in VA) and there was an article about an 18-year old boy who'd had his arm bitten off by an alligator on June 25. Yep, not too far from my hometown. UGH!

Here's a VERY LARGE alligator that was pulled from a canal in FL in 2006. 700 lbs and 12 feet long! I wouldn't want to run into this guy/gal!

Ok, so this wasn't about Crazy Crumbz, but it was interesting. At least I thought so!

Ben's Birthday

On Saturday morning, mommy and daddy took me to Ben's house so I could give him his birthday present. I always love hanging out with Ben. I sure hope he liked his presents.

My Favorite Hiding Place

I love to get in the cabinet and play with all the "goodies." Mommy and daddy decided that they'd never be able to keep these cabinets organized so they quit trying. It belongs to me now.

Puppy on my back

Grammy and Papa bought me a puppy and monkey child harness. I love to wear them around the house. Check out these pictures.

CC loves to climb on anything. Her latest is to climb on her wagon and pull all of the diapers out of the basket.

Smarter than we think

My daughter is pretty darn observant. While holding Crumbz, and of course multi tasking, like reading email, the paper or pouring a cup of coffee, my daughter will notice when I am not paying 100% attention to her, as she demands. So, in order to get my undivided attention, she will lean over and look me right in the eyes until I look her in the eyes. Kind of cute and really puts things into perspective. I need to figure out a way to capture this on video??

Happy 1st Birthday, Ben!

Ben, can you believe we're already a year old? Where did this year go?! I'm so glad you're my friend; you can help keep me out of trouble when we're bigger. :-)

Father's Day Pictures

On Father's Day, Evangeline and her parents came over for dinner. Daddy cooked a yummy dinner (not sure why mommy didn't cook since it was father's day).

I love you, daddy! They say you can't pick your parents but mommy did a great job picking you for my daddy. I look forward to our daddy/daughter times; especially bath time.

Mommy has a surprise but since she's been sick this week it's not finished. Hopefully, she'll get it done this morning so I can give it to you.

One Year Doctor Visit

Today, CC had her one year doctor visit. She's a healthy, but petite, girl.

30 inches
20.14 lbs

My Birthday Weekend!

It was a busy weekend and I had so much fun! Thanks to Grammy, Papa, Charmie, Daulton, Devin, and Cayleb for helping me celebrate my 1st birthday! Mommy and daddy took lots of pictures. Here are some general pictures of the weekend. Enjoy!

Kissing the boys...

Now that I am a year old, I like to kiss boys... I especially like kissing my cousins and i am not even from West Virginia. My cousins are just so cute and they take such good care of me, I just need to kiss them! Thank you Devin, Cayleb and Daulton for sharing my birthday with me!

My First Trip to the Aquarium

It was so hot today that mommy and daddy decided to take us to the aquarium. We saw sharks, sting rays, and lots of fish.

My First Haircut!

Aunt Chris gave me my first haircut after the party! Mommy and daddy had to bribe me with a cupcake as well as complete the haircut in two parts: one with daddy and one with mommy. Thanks Aunt Chris for the GREAT haircut! The world looks so much different now that my bangs aren't hanging in my eyes.

My Birthday Party!

Today was my birthday party and it was HOT!!! Nonetheless, I had a BLAST! All of our friends and some of our family were here to help me celebrate! Papa and daddy cooked ribs while grammy made a layered salad and baked beans. YUMMY! Mommy and the boys made my cupcakes! Check out the mini cupcake cake mommy made just for me!

It was a great time! Thanks to everyone who helped make my day special!

Hanging out at the beach!

The boys wanted to go to the beach while they were here. Who wouldn't? Besides, it's so convenient having the beach right across the street from my house.

It was so HOT and the water felt SO good! As you can see from the pictures, I had my first tasted of beach sand. UGH! Daddy and the boys swam out to the sandbar...it was far! Mommy and I hung on the beach catching some rays.

My First Boat Trip

I had a great time on my first overnight boat trip this weekend. Mr. Jack, Ms. Isma and Bermuda invited us to go on an overnight boat trip on their 38' Bayliner. We left their house around 9 on Saturday morning and returned Sunday around 1 pm. Our original plan was to travel the Chickahominy River. However, we weren't sure what the weather was going to do so we anchored in the Hampton River. Bermuda and I had lots of fun playing and I love being outside. So, you can imagine how much I enjoyed my Saturday/Sunday boating adventure.
