We're Okay

Several of you have called or emailed to check on us; we are okay! The tornadoes were close but missed us.

CC and I went to Anne's house (our friend and neighbor) just in case the tornado watch turned into a warning. Believe it or not, her house has a basement.

Children's Museum

Our outing today consisted of The Children's Museum and Cogan's. I had so much fun at the museum...check out all of the pictures. PS I think mommy and daddy had as much fun as I did.

The Morning Paper

Breakfast, milk and the newspaper...three things I like first thing in the morning. Oh yeah, a good poop, too! :-)

The Word, No

I'm not a big fan of the word, no. Mommy and daddy don't use it very often, but when they do, I cry. In the picture below, daddy told me that I couldn't play with the wine bottles.

This morning, I watched the OV marathon from the front door.

This afternoon, mommy and daddy took me to the local "kiddie" park by our house. I had so much fun swinging and playing on the slide.

We had lunch at Hooters today...wings and fried pickles. Yummy!

Morning Routine

Mommy and I have a routine in the morning...it looks like this:

1. Wake up,
2. Play for a few minutes,
3. Eat breakfast (love my oatmeal and bananas),
4. Play for a few more minutes, and finally...
   
5. Hang out while mommy gets ready for work (side note...I brush my teeth while mommy brushes her teeth).

I love to "get ready" while mommy is. So, she started giving me "stuff" to "play" with. One of my favorite items is the headband. Each morning, mommy gives me a brown headband that looks identical to her black one. I love to stand in front of the mirror and put the headband on and look at myself. Mommy caught me "in the act" this morning and took some pictures.

Wild Hair!

One of my favorite times of the day is bath time. Check out my wild hair.

Mother of the Year -- NOT!

Mommy won't be winning mother of the year today! This afternoon, we were playing on the bed and I fell off. No, I wasn't on the bed by myself; mommy was sitting right next to me.

Here's my side of the story:

There was this really cool glass on the night stand and I wanted it. So, I hurried (much quicker than mommy) to the edge of the bed and when I reached for the glass I tumbled off. On the way down, my head hit the night stand. Ouch! That's not the worst of it; the glass came down and hit me right on the forehead spilling all the cold water on top of me. I didn't say anything for a few seconds and then it hit me; I fell off the bed (if that's not bad enough), hit my head on the nightstand (still pretty bad), had a plastic glass hit me in the head (hurt, too), and had cold water spill on me! I can tell you, I wasn't sleepy after that!

Daddy had just gotten home and was downstairs. All he heard was a thump and mommy scream. He ran upstairs to find mommy and me crying. I'm okay but mommy is still very upset. She did say that she's glad it was her watching me and not daddy when this incident happened! I think she'd have been very upset with daddy if he'd let me fall off the bed. Daddy's a nice guy; he's been very supportive of mommy. :-)

Mommy didn't really want to post the pictures but I told her she needed to document my first real accident. I want everyone to know that I'm okay! Don't enjoy the pictures but take a look at the knots (and my wet shirt and hair). To see a larger version of the pictures go to my web album.

Welcome Baby Silvia!

Uncle Jose, Aunt Laura, Sofia and Stella welcomed Silvia Marie on Thursday, April 17 at 11:11 am.

Today, we stopped by their house to say hello and take them some diapers and wipes. They'll need lots of them!

My First Trip to the Zoo

Today, Bella and I met at the zoo. It was the first time either of us had been to the zoo. It was so much fun...so much fun that our mommies bought memberships.

My First Taco Night

As many of you know, my parents are known for their taco nights. Well, uncle Scotty came into town last week so we had a mini taco night in his honor.

Evangeline's Visit

My friend, Evangeline, spent the afternoon with us so her mommy and daddy could tour the maternity ward at the hospital. We had a fun time! Thanks for hanging out with me, Evangeline.
