Dinner with Ben

Tonight we had dinner at Ben's house. His grandma and grandpa were visiting from Missourri so we were able to see them also.

As always, we had a great time! Mommy even broke one of their chairs...not really but it sounds better that way. To see the pictures, go to Ben's blog.

Congratulations!

Evangeline welcomed her little brother, Nicholas Paul, to the world on July 10 at 11:03 am. He weighed 7 pounds 3 ounces and was 19 1/2 inches long.

Red Lipstick

Let me tell you about little CC...

This morning as I was trying to get ready for work, CC decided to rummage through the bathroom drawers. Nothing unusual, I just cleaned them out (or so I thought) this past weekend. Anyways, she found the bright red lipstick (I mean REALLY bright red) and decided to eat it!!! Yes, eat it! Needless to say, I spent a good 15-20 minutes brushing her teeth (ruined her toothbrush) and washing her face/hands/body to get the red off. Well, cheap bright red lipstick doesn't come off very well. When I left her with Ms. Amy this morning she still had a tint of red around her mouth. No photos since I was too busy trying to clean the little girl. Sorry. I can promise you that the image of her with BRIGHT RED LIPSTICK all over her face and in her mouth will be with me for a very long time. Not to mention that it ruined a washcloth and stained my hands. :-)

Happy 13 Month Birthday!

Our sweet little CC, where has the time gone? You're no longer a pretty baby but a beautiful little girl. We love you, sassy pants.

Set Condition 1 Alpha

I love bath time. I also love pooping!! When the two events collide, daddy is in for some fun!
So, guess what I did in the tub tonight?? I launched some LCAC's. However, these puppies were not lighter than air. I was standing up, got that funny feeling, pops was right there for me to hold onto so I pushed for all I was worth. As uncle Doug would say, it was like a turd dropping from a moose! Yes, my face was red, as it will be when I read this in a few years. Thanks dad, for capturing this personal moment for all to read! Too bad mommy did not capture a picture, she was too busy trying to figure out a good way of fishing out the brown groupers!

Bathtime for Baby

For those of you who don't know....I absolutely love bath time. After a hard afternoon of playing with the Arana girls, I was ready for a warm bath.

A Fun Sunday Afternoon

Today, I spent the afternoon with Sofia, Stella, and Silvia (okay, she slept or hung out with her daddy most of the time) at Birdies. It was SOOO much fun. Mommy and daddy had never heard of the place but Aunt Laura called this morning to see if we wanted to meet them there after church. As you can see from the pictures, we were busy the entire 1:45 we were there...lots to do.

Happy 4th of July!

I hope everyone had a fantastic 4th of July! We spent the afternoon with our good friends, the Arana Family, Ms. Anna, and Aunt Chris. Aunt Laura cooked some great food as always...I really loved the rice.

Oh yeah! Mommy and I were asleep by 8:00 pm so daddy went across the street to the beach to watch the local fireworks. Sorry we were party poopers, daddy!

Nutz and Crazy Crumbz on the Moon?

The Boppie Shuffle.

Well we all know about the Harlem shuffle by the "Stones" well Crazy Crumbs has invented the "Boppie Shuffle". She whines her way into the room where boppie lies. She grabs the boppie and shuffles into the room where her mommy is. Doing the boppie shuffle. Tears a flowing whines a whining eager for her pre-bedtime boob shake! Crackerz caught a little on film, maybe she will post it for all to view.

Going Through My Closet

Mommy let me play in my closet today. I found this hat and thought it was cute! I know, it doesn't match my outfit but who cares. I didn't go out in public.

Sick Baby

CC's had a fever all weekend so this morning I took her to the pediatrician; she has her first ear infection. So, for the next few days she'll be taking her Amoxicillin twice a day.

While there, the doc told us that her four molars were swollen and that one had broken through. He (different pediatrician than her regular one) said that as a new doctor he didn't believe there was a correlation between teething and ear problems. However, over the years he's seen enough to know that some children do develop ear infections/aches when teething. Could this be CC?

You know you've lived in FL if...

you're interested in the Gator Attack Database. Yes, you heard right! There's a database of all recorded gator attacks dating back to 1928. If these are the recorded attacks, I wonder how many go unrecorded?

I was reading the local paper (in VA) and there was an article about an 18-year old boy who'd had his arm bitten off by an alligator on June 25. Yep, not too far from my hometown. UGH!

Here's a VERY LARGE alligator that was pulled from a canal in FL in 2006. 700 lbs and 12 feet long! I wouldn't want to run into this guy/gal!

Ok, so this wasn't about Crazy Crumbz, but it was interesting. At least I thought so!
