Doctor's Appointment
So far, I've gained 21 pounds...according to Dr. Groves, "You're right on track". Crazy Crumbs has already turned and is in the head-down position. I had no idea babies turned this soon...okay, it's not that soon...10 weeks to go. :-o Both CC and I are doing well...I do have serious heartburn so food doesn't really appeal to me right now. However, I am eating...just trying to stay away from the spicy foods. How does raisin bran sound? :-)
More next time...

Nesting...Men?
Let's hope that he finishes this bathroom faster than the last. We both got the nasty flu last time and went without a toilet in our room for over a week. Needless to say, it wasn't fun! :-)
Thanks, Nutz for getting this project done. I have several more when you're finished. :-) I love you!!

Important Poems -- NOT Baby Related
WOMAN'S POEM
Before I lay me down to sleep,
I pray for a man, who's not a creep,
One who's handsome, smart and strong.
One who loves to listen long,
One who thinks before he speaks,
One who'll call, not wait for weeks.
I pray he's gainfully employed,
When I spend his cash, won't be annoyed.
Pulls out my chair and opens my door,
Massages my back and begs to do more.
Oh! Send me a man who'll make love to my mind, Knows what to answer to
"how big is my behind?"
I pray that this man will love me to no end, And always be my very best
friend.
MAN'S POEM
I pray for a drop dead gorgeous
deaf-mute nymphomaniac with huge boobs
who owns a Bar on a golf course,
and loves to send me fishing and hunting.
This doesn't rhyme
and I don't give a shit.

It's getting close!
If interested, Crazy Crumbs will be born (if all goes well) at Sentara Leigh and they have a really cool virtual tour. You'll need to use Internet Explorer in order for it to work (at least I did). If Nutz has his way, he'll be tailgating in the parking lot. I can see it now. :-)
Crazy Crumbs Nursery

Several people have asked me what colors we're putting in Crazy Crumbs' room. Here's a picture of the bedding that we'll be using (this was taken off the website and is not a picture of her room) and the cool ceiling fan and lamp. We've painted the walls a pretty light green (almost lime) and hung white sheer curtains. I'll take some pictures and post them for all to see.

Talk about literal translation....
(this is priceless!)
A teacher noticed that a little boy at the back of the class was squirming around, scratching his crotch, and not paying attention. She went back to find out what was going on. He was quite embarrassed and whispered that he had just recently been circumcised and he was quite itchy.
The teacher told him to go down to the principal's office. He was to telephone his mother and ask her what he should do about it. He did it and returned to his class. Suddenly, there was a commotion at the back of the room. She went back to investigate only to find him sitting at his desk with his penis hanging out. "I thought I told you to call your mom!" she said. "I did," he said, "And she told me that if I could stick it out till noon, she'd come and pick me up from school."

Mystery friend...
To make a long story short, she and I am at a loss as to the "Amy" that is a regular here on the blog. Amy in my opinion is a popular friend name for Crackerz. When I scroll through her cell phone and ask her who some of the people listed are, she says, "you met her or him back when I was really hammered, she held my hair back when I was yacking or hooked me up with some really hot guy!" That is Crackerz for ya!! So Amy, tell me a great story about Crackerz, I am sure our daughter will get a chuckle over it when she is old enough!

New Belly Pics!

It's amazing how fast your body changes. Here I am, 25 weeks pregnant, and people still can't really tell. However, I guess that's not a bad thing. I have several weeks left to grow! :-)
I wasn't feeling too professional at work so I went shopping on Monday and picked up some dresses at Ann Taylor Loft (my favorite non-maternity store). I was in luck, they had 3 dresses for a pregnant lady to wear. This is one of them.

Valentine's Day 2007

My sweet husband surprised me with a Valentine's Day date to the Virginia Symphony to see Romeo loves Juliet. Thanks Nutz! I had a great time last night.
While we were there, we ran into our good friends, Bonnie and Todd. Bonnie surprised Todd with an evening out!
