Cute Girl Clothes!
I guess I never paid attention to how many cute outfits there are for little girls! Here are a few of my favorites. :-)

Dad-to-be
The Mommy Test
Thanks for sharing, Jennifer.
I was out walking with my 4 year old daughter. She picked up something off the ground and started to put it in her mouth. I took the item away from her and I asked her not to do that. "Why?" my daughter asked. "Because it's been on the ground, you don't know where it's been, it's dirty and probably has germs" I replied. At this point, my daughter looked at me with total admiration and asked, "Mommy, how do you know all this stuff? You are so smart."
I was thinking quickly. "All moms know this stuff. It's on the Mommy Test. You have to know it, or they don't let you be a Mommy." We walked along in silence for 2 or 3 minutes, but she was evidently pondering this new information. "OH...I get it!" she beamed, "So if you don't pass the test you have to be the daddy." "Exactly" I replied back with a big smile on my face.

A valentines day dream...
Little babygirl Crazy Crumbs comes home from first grade and tells her father that they learned about the history of Valentine's Day.
"Since Valentine's Day is for a Christian saint and we're Jewish (not really)," she asks, "will God get mad at me for giving someone a valentine?"
Crazy Crumb's father thinks a bit, then says "No, I don't think God would get mad. Who do you want to give a Valentine to?"
"Osama Bin Laden," she says. "Why Osama Bin Laden?" her father asks in shock.
"Well," she says, "I thought that if a little American Jewish girl could have enough love to give Osama a Valentine, he might start to think that maybe we're not all bad, and maybe start loving people a little bit.
And if other kids saw what I did and sent Valentines to Osama, he'd love everyone a lot. And then he'd start going all over the place to tell everyone how much he loved them and how he didn't hate anyone anymore."
Her father's heart swells and he looks at his daughter with new found pride.
"Crazy Crumbs, that's the most wonderful thing I've ever heard."
"I know," Crazy Crumbs says, "and once that gets him out in the open, the Marines could shoot the f****r."

Clothes!

Here it is, week 23 of my pregnancy, and Crazy Crumbs already has a closet full of clothes. :-) I can't help myself. Instead of shopping for shoes, I now shop for cute girl clothes. Okay...I still shop for shoes, too.
We've decided to make the guest room into a nursery which means Nutz will lose his "extra" closet. I've started hanging her clothes and they look so tiny next to his clothes. So, there's no hiding what I buy. :-)
Great OB!
It's hard to find a great OB doctor, but thanks to my friend, Laura, I did. Dr. Groves is such a caring and compassionate doctor. Hopefully he'll be on call the day Crazy Crumbs decides to arrive.
New Belly Picture

Here I am...23 weeks and 5 days. Where does the time go? As you can tell, I still look like I've eaten too much bbq. Unless you know it, it's hard to tell that I'm pregnant!
I had a doctor's appointment last Tuesday and hadn't gained any weight for the month. I'm sure that had to do with the flu bug I had for 4 days. The doctor said that Crazy Crumbs is doing just fine!

Busy Girl
Crazy Crumbs is a busy little girl! She flips and kicks early in the morning which wakes me up...I guess this is a precursor of things to come. :-) Nutz, on the other hand, sleeps peacefully. So, I turn the tv on and use the bathroom as many times as possible. Speaking of the bathroom, a great invention would be a catheter for expecting moms. I lose track of the number of times I get out of bed during the night. It's probably a result of all the milk I've been drinking lately. No complaints...milk is better than a cold beer. Cold beer? That sounds pretty good right now. NOTE: Nutz is looking over my shoulder telling me that I should tell you that I go through about a gallon of milk a week.
Until next time...

New Tummy Pic

I've only gained 10 pounds these last 20 weeks and 6 days but my tummy is slowly getting bigger. My non-pregnant pants/skirts are tight and must be worn with a band (can leave them unbuttoned). However, this week they weren't so comfortable. It looks like I'm going to have to break out some maternity work clothes soon.

Ultrasound Pics from January 2nd
Tuesday, January 2, 2007
It's official...

We're having a girl!
Today, we had our ultrasound...Crazy Crumbs was wild. I wonder if that's any indication of what's yet to come. She tossed and turned and kicked the entire time. Pretty exciting! My mother warned me my whole life that one day I'd be paid back...guess that time is getting closer. As soon as I get the ultrasound pictures scanned, I'll post them here.
Look out world, Nutz and Crackerz are having a girl! :-) Jose, it's payback time for all those comments Nutz made about your first born.
Stay tuned....June 2nd isn't that far away!
